EL OBELISCO


is a modern monument placed at the heart of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Porteños refer to it simply as El Obelisco.

The obelisk is one of the main icons of the city, and a venue for various cultural activities (usually sponsored by the city government) and other events. It is the traditional gathering spot for sports fans to celebrate when their favourite team wins, especially from the national football team, often resulting in colorful events that attract media coverage. It was also used by several acrobatic troupes to perform high-wire acts.


PLAZA DORREGO


Plaza Dorrego (Dorrego Square) is a square located in the heart of San Telmo, in Buenos Aires Argentina. In the 19th century, San Telmo was the main residential neighbourhood of the city and Plaza Dorrego was its focal point.


Currently, its surroundings are full of coffee shops, bars and pubs, which fill the square with tables from those shops. There are also several antique stores. Musicians and dancers particularly tango exhibitions are seen. The Feria de San Telmo (San Telmo Fair), mainly of antiques, runs every Sunday. Plaza Dorrego is located at the intersection of Humberto I and Defensa streets. Along with La Boca, Recoleta, Florida, and others, Plaza Dorrego is one of the main tourist attractions of Buenos Aires.

La Casa Rosada ("the Pink House"), officially known as the ("Government House") or ("The Presidential Palace"), is the official seat of the executive branch of the goverment of argentina (When not working at the Casa Rosada, the president resides in a compound in Olivos in buenos aires a large square which since the founding of the city of buenos aires has contained the top political institutions of Argentina.

DECORATIVE ART MUSEUM


Firma y Odilo Estévez Municipal Decorative Art Museum (Museo de Arte Decorativo Firma y Odilo Estévez) is the former home of the Estévez family in Rosario. Argentina, which was donated to the Municipality of Rosario and turned into a museum.


The museum is located in the historical core of Rosario, in front of Plaza 25 de Mayo. It showcases a permanent exhibition of artwork that was gathered by the Estévez family during almost 30 years, including Spanish furniture from the 16th, 17th and 18th century and copies of 18th-century French furniture; a collection of European paintings; a number of sculptures; works in ivory, glass, porcelain, jade, and silver (European, pre-Columbian and Asian); tapestries, carpets, and fans.


CATHEDRAL BASILICA OF OUR LADY OF THE ROSARIO


The Cathedral Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary is a minor basilica and cathedral dedicated to the local Virgin of the Rosary, in the city of Rosario, province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It is the motherchurch of the Archdiocese of Rosario

The basilica dates from the last part of the 19th century; it was first projected in 1882 and its construction started in 1887. Its altar is of Italian origin, and it was made of Carrara marble. The motherchurch was officially named a cathedral at the canonical erection of the Diocese of Rosario, on 20 April 1934, and it became a basilica on 7 October 1966.
